Architect, General hospital engineer
After a few years of architectural private practice, Jacques ROOS joined public service as hospital engineer.
He successively headed the technical departments of Nimes University Hospital, then Strasbourg University Hospital.
Through these positions, he managed important hospital building projects in Nimes and Strasbourg.
He is recognized as an expert in hospital design and was member of numerous architectural competitions juries for large French university hospital buildings (La Timone in Marseille, Lariboisière in Paris, Iles de Nantes in Nantes…).
He is currently vice president of Ingénieurs Hospitaliers de France (IHF).
